VILLA B #1

It is rare to have the chance to restore a great XX century house working four-handed with the original designer.
Published in countless architecture magazines and books on seaside architecture, the villa sits on a plot of land blessed by God on the Sardinian shore, with a view embracing a pristine landscape of mediterranean shrubs and turqouise waters. It was built at the end of the seventies in an idiom of honest materials left exposed to the aggressive marine environment.
We faced the challenge to adapt it to the needs of a new owner and update it technologically, without loosing its harsh, rugged beauty. New electrical and mechanical systems had to be integrated without being obtrusive.
